About Me
As a Dog Trainer
I am extremely passionate about the emotional well-being of dogs. Since becoming a Professional Dog Trainer, I have worked with many fearful dogs and have lots of success stories. You can read my reviews here.
Above all, I focus on helping dog owners build a strong bond with their dog. I incorporate play into training and use fun, interactive methods to motivate the dogs. This subsequently leads to strong behaviours.
As a proud member of The Dog Welfare Alliance, I use only compassionate, positive training methods with the dogs in my care. I never use training aids which cause discomfort, distress, or pain.
The Training Journey
The most rewarding part of my job is watching you and your dog grow in confidence. I love helping dogs overcome their fears with behaviour modification plans and modern science-based training methods.
Empowering dogs and giving them a sense of achievement is amazing. However, dogs are extremely empathetic and can feel our emotions. Therefore, it’s important that their guardians feel confident, happy, and safe.
What It Takes to Be a Dog Trainer
To be a good dog trainer you must have patience and a genuine love of dogs. To teach dogs new skills you need the right approach, and some tasty treats, obviously.
Furthermore, to change how dogs deal with certain situations we need to understand what drives their behaviour. When we understand this, we can significantly reduce unwanted behaviours as well as shaping new ones.
Finally, being a Dog Trainer is about helping you. I can show you how to train your dog and overcome obstacles in order to raise happy, well-behaved dogs.
If you would like to give it a try fill out this application form. You can book a taster session and together we will build a training plan.
